There are a variety of standards that are said to measure success. A high IQ is claimed to give a person greater chances of achievement. Another school of thought asserts that bearing a higher EQ gives a person a fighting chance at succeeding. Still others say that a combination of the two, added with knowing how to ‘play your cards right,’ would ensure the best results. But really, is that all there is to it?

    Hi Pastor Joey,

Thanks for the great message. Personally, I pray that this be the year of value and wisdom for me. For a person who relies a lot on self-help, I need to dig deeper on the source of all wisdom.

On a side note, just wanted to add another quotient that I discoevered 2 years ago - the Time Quotient. This was devised by the founders of ThinkTQ.com - ER Haas and Kent Madson. Their thesis is the success of a person is not determined by their IQ or EQ but their TQ or how they use their time. TQ is measured as TQ = Results / Time. High TQ people achieve more Results in less Time while low TQ people get less Results even with more Time. They’ve actually boiled down success to 100 measurable actions. It’s a compelling system. If you want to find out more, their site is ThinkTQ.com.
